Our farm: Masseria Chiazarelli
I met Elena in Firenze and we took a night train together to Lecce, all the way in the "heel" of Italy's boot. It was quite an adventure. With the WWOOF organiztion (Worldwide Oppurtunities on Organic Farms) we contacted a farm near Lecce. We worked there; in the vegetable garden, in the olive orchards, etc. There were 4 other "WWOOFers": one from Japan, one from Ireland and two from Germany.
